Adam Funk: From Finance to Flourishing in Recruiting

Adam Funk’s journey into the world of Logistics Recruiting took a unique and dynamic path. Initially immersed in the fast-paced environments of the banking and mortgage industries, Adam dedicated eight years to refining his skills in sales, account management, and customer service. These experiences instilled in him the importance of understanding individual needs and aspirations beyond mere numerical achievements.

Then, in 2023, inspired by a desire to make a meaningful impact, Adam started to explore careers with transformative potential. This is when the role of “Recruiter” caught his eye as it aligned perfectly with the relational skills he had spent years honing in the finance realm.

Team East was in search of another Recruiter and it was clear that Adam’s track record of superb customer service, sales, negotiating, and relationship management would make him an excellent Recruiter at Top Talent.

Today:

Within his first year at Top Talent, Adam Funk had done so well as a Recruiter that he was promoted to Regional Director for the East Region. His responsibilities include overseeing a team of Logistics and Supply Chain Recruiters and managing client relationships with companies that are East of Illinois.
