Many years ago, Valerie Carlson took the LSAT in hopes of pursuing a law degree, but fell in love with sales and never looked back! Valerie has four years of logistics experience where she managed customers’ freight in all capacities. After a few years of experience recruiting others, Valerie joined Top Talent to recruit as a Director of Talent Acquisition for the East Region. Here she works with clients and candidates in the Logistics industry all across the Southeast, Northeast, and East Coast of the United States. Valerie prides herself on being adaptable, a genuine team player, and extremely competitive.

Valerie currently lives in Chicago with her husband, son, and two dogs Zelda and Luna. She’s quite adventurous with experience in skydiving, bungee jumping, zip-lining, and scuba diving. Valerie also enjoys hiking, camping, exploring, and spending time with loved ones in her spare time.
